You need: XAMPP at [https://www.apachefriends.org/download.html get XAMPP] this is a development php environment running scripts on local pc. install it into c://xampp directory to start it click c://xampp/xampp_control.exe click start at module "Apache" you can open any files paperno.pdf stored in c://xampp/htp/moremedpapers by browser link to http://localhost/moremedpapers/paperno.pdf ---- So you have to '''save''' your papers into c://xampp/htp/moremedpapers (first time, create folder moremedpapers) whereas paperno is the pmid number (or the pmc starting with C), so you have to change the original file name. from a mg.moremed bibliography, click the PDF link which linkouts to the paper stored in the moremedpapers folder. the folder name is essential since this resource links exactly to this folder. If the papers file is not a pdf, you should convert it into pdf e.g. by openoffice. XAMPP is needed only at times of retrieving a paper not to save it. Set Firefox Settings -- General -- Files and Applications -- List of file types: pdf: OpenInFirefox ---- Implementation example (working) http://mg.moremed.org/w/index.php?title=Cajal_cells_(TRPM7) To obtain a paper to save it click the 8-digit number left to the title, the triptychon which opens gives you a collection of links to that paper. NOT complicated, problem solved !
